Claremore boasts many beautiful and historic homes which have been open to the public at one time or another as part of the Fall Old Home Tour. For the most part these properties have been purchased, restored, and lovingly maintained as well as beautifully decorated by their owners at the time of the tour. Historians research and document the information and background of each house, noting any famous citizens who may have lived there, taking care to point out modifications that might alter the historic character of the home. Architectural details of interest are recorded and photographed if possible.
