2011 marked the first year for what RCHS hopes will be another successful annual fundraiser. Twelve vendors participated, and an appraiser was on hand to evaluate antiques. The Tea Room was open regular hours indoors, and served basket lunches for diners to enjoy outside. Breakfast and dessert was cinnamon rolls and chocolate dipped cheesecake and cream puffs on a stick- delicious!
The gift shop did brisk business and many members donated antiques, linens, and plants to be sold in our outdoor tent. A children’s tent offered face painting and origami. So many gracious volunteers were on hand to help the event run smoothly, that vendors took notice and expressed appreciation for the pleasant work environment.

Advertising banners and pavilions were generously donated by John and Linda Tedder and these can be reused in years to come. Thanks to all the Committee Members and volunteers who were on hand to make this day a success: Hoytana Benigar, Evelyn Clark, Sandy Coy, Peggy Feese, Lois Hawkins, Fran Jones, Jeanne McFarland, Ed and Marleta McGuire, Ron and Cynthia McVicar, MaryAnn Spangler, Linda Tedder, John and Kathy Wilken, Morgan Williams.
Appraiser Michael Ratcliffe was on hand to evaluate treasures, generously donating his fees to the Belvidere. After expenses, we raised almost $1200- not bad for a first time event.
